Let us communicate! The newest products the company Canyon has to offer are designed for the most discerning users that like to make use of all the advantages of the Internet. The models sold so far have been replaced by the new generation models with much better performance.

First and foremost, what distinguishes the CNR-WCAM43 and CNR-WCAM413 from previous versions is support for 300K colour and 1, 3 Mpx resolution, which adds to the images transferred by these models the whole new dimension in video communication. The prerequisite for quality video chat is still fast Internet. Canyon become known to the wider public not only through certain types of devices it was selling, but also through its ready solutions known as VoIP Chat sets containing all components necessary for easy initiation of communication. After successful positioning, thanks to the first generation of mentioned sets, the company Canyon decided to replace those sets with new models of cameras in order to improve its product range and present the mentioned models to the users at prices and in quality that can meet the competition.

For video communication

The main feature of this first, new chat set CNR-CP2 is the new 300K web camera. Another characteristic of this model is a full VGA resolution (640x480) with 30 fps. The set contains stereo headphones with microphone. Each of these components can be used separately or as the part of the set. Even though it has fast snap button, the camera does not make fascinating shots of the JPEG and/or BMP format. The urban combination of colours – green/black looks interesting and camera can easily conform to any surface you wish to place it on.

Other set is CNR-CP3 Chat Pack Pro and represents the more advanced set because to the web camera of 1, 3 Mpx that can display the resolution of 1280 x 1024. There are, off course, the headphones with the microphone. There is no physical difference between those models, except in colour. The more advanced models come in the blue and black combination.

Only for voice

We wrote many times about the models of VoIP telephones that allow dialing of other numbers or users of specialized services through the Internet. Models we represent can be used in all well-known environments – Skype, MSN and Yahoo, precisely for calls from one PC to another or from the PC to the phone. CNP-VT1 is a new Canyon telephone designed for this particular service that is connected through USB port to the computer. With its simple design and user friendliness this model has the potential to become the indispensable tool of every user of the VoIP communication. In order to use it, it is enough to connect it to the computer. When you have incoming call, the telephone shall give a ring signal and at the same time the indication of the caller.

The model that we like the most is labeled with one extra W – CNP-VTW1. It is a telephone with the same options as the previous one; in fact, it even looks the same. The difference is in its wireless connectivity with the base and the technology is not the same as in the ordinary wireless telephone, it uses Bluetooth technology. It has a minor flaw – related to support for V1.2, it is not possible to go too far from the base. But, there are few people who have such large dwellings in which the coverage has to be more than the limiting one (between 25– 30 metres). The base is used as the Bluetooth unit for transmission of signal or charging of the telephone. The in-build battery is Li-Ion.

Those who use VoIP regularly and who have experienced all its advantages will certainly find that this telephone improves their communication.
